One of the projects for my computer-aided product creation class is the fabrication of a bottle opener for pop- and twist-off bottles. I created a boom-box-looking opener out of both brass and stainless steel. Used strap clamps for the raw material and tab fixturing on the actual piece.

First image is a SolidWorks rendering, then a GibbsCAM preview, then a test cut in acrylic. The last images show the strap clamping, then cutting the part out from the stock, leaving the tabs, and lastly a finished piece.
