Karen Shakespear makes phenomenal kinetic sculptures. I proposed a collaboration wherein I offered the materials for the kinetic sculptures and Karen brought them to life. The result is a very beautiful mechanism that turns rotary motion into intermittent rotary motion and makes small colored spheres dance high in the air.
